Answer
Yes. The regulations include an exception for pilots taking the practical test under BasicMed (see 14 CFR 61.23(a)(3)(iii)). For more information about BasicMed operating requirements, see 14 CFR 61.113(i) and 14 CFR 61.23(c)(3).
