Question of the Week
Question

If I already have a Marine Radio Operator Permit (MP) from the FCC, do I also need a Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit (RR) to fly internationally?
Answer
If you already have a current MP, you do not need to get the RR as well. The MP conveys all the authority of the RR. (See 47 CFR 13.8(g)).
